My name is Phanny April Sa. I was born in Battambang, Cambodia. I came to America from a refugee camp in Thailand. I grew up wanting to become a teacher because I believe everyone deserves a good education and be successful. I’m currently enrolled at Point Loma Nazarene University to obtain my Masters in Education. I love learning new things and trying different food from all cultures. In my spare time, I like to do arts and crafts with my 4-year-old daughter, Amber Joy. I teach my daughter about the different cultures at home through arts and crafts. We’ve made mini pinatas to learn about Mexico. Another project was learning origami to learn about Japan. I also like to travel all over the United States. I’m working on traveling internationally so I can explore new places around the world. I’m excited to be part of the team at City Heights Prep!
